NAS backup performance issue ?
Issue Summary : We have CIFS share created in Ontap storage and primary snapshot taking in same volume it’s self. commvuult hyperscale used for all the backup configuration (Schedule,retention,etc…) and we used hyperscale storage for secondary backup which means moving source snapshots to hyperscale using NDMP protocal.
And both end we are using 10g network port (intercluster) but we have noticed average throughput 340gb /hr . Is there any throttle settings in commvault end ? I have verified in netapp end no throttle setting configured .Is there any network limitation for NDMP protocol ?
so please suggest your opinion on this issue .
Note: we are expecting 1 tb/hr speed .
